Sometimes I'd rather be happy than skinny. I for sure want Crunchy Bananas and maybe Blackberry, and I'm intrigued by the Japanese Pumpkin. Let's go!

It's Pancake Month!!!
I was talking to Sophie about dieting, about how to burn fat you have to cut down on carbs. But then I heard about the Clinton Street Baking Company's Pancake Month!

Sometimes I'd rather be happy than skinny. I for sure want Crunchy Bananas and maybe Blackberry, and I'm intrigued by the Japanese Pumpkin. Let's go!

I love you, Mark Bittman
I'm going to make a movie about how we met in prison and fell in love, and it's going to be a big hit despite our horrendous Southern accents that make (one of) us sound like William Faulkner. Ahem Ewan McGregor.
Anyway. Mark Bittman, you make me love life. I read your articles and I feel so happy to be alive so that I too can cook and eat things like bulgur-ricotta pancakes! I dream of the day when I'll be one of those people that has the time and energy on weekend mornings to get up and make whole-grain breakfast breads.
